BMW&#8217;s first all-electric 5 Series executive sedan, BMW i5 is based on the CLAR platform. So, it&#8217;s not a pure electric model. But there are a couple of new features that might make you forget about the old underpinnings. 
First off, BMW&#8217;s &#8216;business&#8217; sedan now offers gaming experience! It&#8217;s called Air Console and there are already 15 or so games available to play. 
The second most noteworthy feature is the new intelligent heat pump system. It&#8217;ll allow BMW i5 to consume less energy in cold weather and easily pre-condition the battery pack before charging.

The Chinese electric vehicle giant BYD has opened orders for the Seal U model. For the 2024 model year, there is a significant reduction in prices, almost $3,000.
Having surpassed the 800,000 sales mark in three years, the Seal U will initially come to our country only with the plug-in hybrid version. This motor option stands out with a starting price of $18,000.

🔋The 2024 BYD Han boasts a range of 506 km (CLTC), which extends up to 715 kilometers in the version with an 85.44 kWh battery. During today&#8217;s event, it was emphasized for the first time that the car features a silicon carbide chip inverter and an 800V architecture. However, the charging speed of the largest battery being limited to 155 kW indicates that the entire high-voltage system is not yet ready for 800V.
🚗In the performance version of the car, a dual-motor powertrain capable of producing 517 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque is used, achieving a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 3.9 seconds.

Audi, using NCM811 cathode cells produced by Chinese company Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) in Germany, states that the larger cell form facilitates battery production. Additionally, it emphasizes that the newly developed smart thermal management system enhances battery life by continuously conditioning the battery and reduces charging time.
Regarding the engine, the company claims a 50% increase in efficiency compared to the first-generation electric Audis and states that it can produce more power with smaller motors by increasing power density by 62%. It should be noted that the Q6 e-tron uses an asynchronous ASM motor at the front and a permanent magnet synchronous PSM motor at the rear, differentiating it from the electric #Macan.

⚡Volvo is getting ready to introduce a new electric car, maybe under the ES90 moniker.
⚡The ES90 and the EX90 SUV are expected to utilize the same battery pack and share the same architecture.
⚡This car is expected to face competition from the Mercedes-Benz EQE and BMW i5.
A mid-size luxury sedan designed to take the place of the S90 will be Volvo&#8217;s next electric car, similar to how the EX90 was introduced as the XC90&#8217;s electric counterpart. The four-door will be known as the ES90, and it will share the EX90&#8217;s base, battery pack, and other powertrain parts, according to Swedish magazine Teknikens Värld.
The length of the ES90 is said to fall between the long-wheelbase S90 that is now available in the United States and the discontinued short-wheelbase variant, according to leaked Chinese reports.
