Audi, using NCM811 cathode cells produced by Chinese company Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) in Germany, states that the larger cell form facilitates battery production. Additionally, it emphasizes that the newly developed smart thermal management system enhances battery life by continuously conditioning the battery and reduces charging time.
Regarding the engine, the company claims a 50% increase in efficiency compared to the first-generation electric Audis and states that it can produce more power with smaller motors by increasing power density by 62%. It should be noted that the Q6 e-tron uses an asynchronous ASM motor at the front and a permanent magnet synchronous PSM motor at the rear, differentiating it from the electric #Macan.

During today&#8217;s event, it was emphasized for the first time that the car features a silicon carbide chip inverter and an 800V architecture. However, the charging speed of the largest battery being limited to 155 kW indicates that the entire high-voltage system is not yet ready for 800V.
🚗In the performance version of the car, a dual-motor powertrain capable of producing 517 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque is used, achieving a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 3.9 seconds.

The Chinese Luxury Electric Car Brand Has Halted Production!

1.8 Billion Euro Investment in Electric Bus Transformation from Paris!

⚡Scottish charging startup Trojan Energy announced that it has received an additional £26 million of investment for its technology that will provide charging opportunities for electric vehicles on every pavement.
🟢The company places sockets with AC charging support up to 22 kW on the sidewalks at intervals of five meters. More than 600 sockets have already been installed in the city of Aberdeen alone. Customers can easily start charging with the tubular device placed in these sockets.

💰Japanese automotive giant #Toyota announced that it will invest $1.3 billion in its Kentucky facility in the USA to produce a new fully electric SUV.
The vehicle is expected to bear the name bZ5X. It is also expected to be a three-row, 7-seater SUV. In addition to vehicle production, a new line will be established at the facility for battery pack production. The battery cells will be supplied from Toyota&#8217;s own factory in North Carolina.

Ulu Motor Accelerates Electric Vehicle Investment in Turkey with Skywell!

Budget-friendly EV push from Hyundai and Kia!

🟢Xiaomi introduced its first car last month and is preparing to start officially mass production in its Beijing factory. The company has been producing test products for a while.
🔋Electric sedan Xiaomi SU7 draws attention with its 800 km range with a 101 kWh battery, 676 HP, 800V electrical architecture that provides a 510 km range with 15 mins of charging, and a drag coefficient of 0.195 Cd.
🏭 Xiaomi will start production in February 2024. Even though it uses Beijing Auto&#8217;s production license, it will carry out production in its factory. Monthly production is expected to exceed 2,000 in March and reach 10,000 in July 2024.
💰There has been no clear statement about the price yet. However, it is estimated that the starting price may reach $30,000. It is said that the company plans to keep the profit margin low on the hardware side and make profits from software features, just like in the first period of smartphones.
🚗Construction will begin for the second phase of the factory in Beijing before the end of 2024. It currently has an annual production capacity of 200,000 vehicles. Xiaomi&#8217;s goal is to become one of the five largest electric vehicle manufacturers in the world and reach a sales volume of 10 million per year.

Xiaomi’s Electric Car SU7 Officially Begins to Be Produced!

🟢#Hyundai will produce its budget-friendly electric car. The company will launch this year in Europe. 
🏭 Lionel French Keogh, the company&#8217;s manager in charge of France, confirmed that the mini SUV Casper will come to Europe as a fully electric vehicle. He also shared that it could be produced in Czechia to benefit from incentives in Europe. However, outside Czechia, Hyundai Assan&#8217;s Kocaeli factory (Turkey) may also be one of the options considered for production.
🔋Hyundai Casper EV will come with a range of 300 km on a single charge. The vehicle has a starting price of €22,000 and an SUV-style body design. It will compete with Renault&#8217;s Dacia Spring. The European price of the vehicle will decrease to €15,000 with incentives.

A budget-friendly compact SUV from Hyundai!

⚡We asked distributor Ulu Motor about the rumors that Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer Skywell has ended its sales operations in Turkey.
🔋It is known that Skywell&#8217;s battery pack production facility will be implemented soon in Turkey. Ulu Motor CEO Mahmut Ulubaş stated that the investment incentive process for Turkey continues in the electric vehicle factory and will be implemented with an investment of billions of dollars.

🟢 These investments are significant for the Turkish automotive industry. Investments were made possible by turning Turkey into one of the largest export markets for Skywell. For this reason, it is stated that the company has not taken a decision to refrain from fulfilling the conditions of establishing 20 services and call centers and withdraw from the market.
🚗 It is said that there are problems at customs and delivery problems caused by dealers. The fact that the relevant authorities do not accept applications regarding the 20-service opening requirements for Chinese electric vehicle companies and the TSE standard required to fulfill this requirement makes things even more difficult.
🔋It seems that the normalization of the process in Chinese electric vehicle imports will take place in the second quarter of 2024.
🟢 On the other hand, it was stated that Ulu Motor is preparing for sales activities in new European markets with Skywell.
